Most expats who retire to Antalya probably spend their first year visiting the well-known tourist attractions in the area and yes we know there are many. I am sure that everyone visits the famous ancient ruins of Perge, Aspendos and Side and the national parks and waterfalls of Duden, Kurşunlu and Manavgat. You can also spend hours wandering around the old town of Antalya – Kaleiçi and the newer areas of Konyaaltı and Lara… But then what?
The aim of this blog is to give you some ideas for road trips and days out, exploring lesser known places of interest in the Antalya area. You will have a chance to see some spectacular scenery and discover some hidden gems. We will also give you some ideas for long weekends or breaks abroad with flights from Antalya airport.
